Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Manufacturing Tech for the 2nd shift in Saint Paul, MN. You will maintain and program surface mount equipment, perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and oversee spare parts inventory for factory equipment.

You'll design solder stencils and fixtures for PCB assemblies, train production personnel, and assist in selecting and installing new capital equipment. High School education and 3 years of experience required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience with production equipment.
• Experience programming surface mount equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Capable of training production personnel.

Responsibilities

• Program surface mount equipment for production use (pick and place, AOI, reflow ovens, and selective solder).
• Perform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Perform and document repairs on production equipment of moderate complexity.
• Design solder stencils for PCB assemblies.
• Design fixtures for PCB assemblies.
• Train production personnel on safe operation of production equipment.
• Oversee the ordering, control, and upkeep of spare parts inventory for factory equipment.
• Assist in selection and installation of new capital equipment for use in production.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary: This position supports our Module Assembly and Test Department and is responsible for maintaining the assembly equipment, including programming surface mount equipment, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, overseeing the spare parts inventory for the equipment, designing solder stencils and fixtures and training production personnel.

salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year

shift: Second

work hours: 3 PM - 11 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Program various pieces of surface mount equipment for use by production assemblers (pick and place, automated optical inspection, reflow ovens, and selective solder machines).
• Perform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Perform and document moderately complex repairs on production equipment.
• Design solder stencils for production of PCB assemblies.
• Design various fixtures for production of PCB assemblies.
• Train Production personnel on safe and effective operation of production equipment.
• Oversee the ordering, control, and upkeep of spare parts inventory for factory equipment.
• Assist in selection and installation of new capital equipment for use in production.
• Other duties as assigned.
