Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented 2nd Shift Kitting Specialist to support our production team. The role requires organizing kit assembly, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate ERP records to keep assembly flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in kitting or inventory.
• Experience with ERP/database management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Kit Assembly & Preparation: pull electronic components and mechanical parts according to BOMs and work orders.
• Inventory Verification: perform quality and count checks to prevent delays or mismatches.
• ERP/Database Management: record pulls, issues, and transfers in inventory software.
• Production Support: deliver staged kits to assembly stations and coordinate with 2nd shift leads.
• Shortage Tracking: identify missing parts and alert Procurement; tag incomplete kits.
• Stockroom Maintenance: maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-compliant stockroom.

We are looking for an organized, detail-driven 2nd Shift Kitting Specialist to join our production team and keep our assembly operations running seamlessly.

salary: $50,000 - $67,000 per year

shift: Third

work hours: 2 PM - 10 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Kit Assembly & Preparation: Pull electronic components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, wiring, hardware) and mechanical parts according to engineering BOMs and work orders.
• Inventory Verification: Perform strict quality and count checks on all pulled items to prevent assembly delays or component mismatches.
• ERP/Database Management: Record component pulls, issues, and transfers accurately within the inventory management software.
• Production Support: Deliver staged kits directly to assembly stations and coordinate with 2nd shift leads to re-prioritize work orders as needed.
• Shortage Tracking: Identify missing parts, issue material shortage alerts to Procurement, and tag incomplete kits clearly.
• Stockroom Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-compliant (Electrostatic Discharge) stockroom environment.
