Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for our Pottstown, PA site. This contract-to-hire role supports production through assembling, testing, and improving processes on a 2nd shift.

You will operate precision equipment, read blueprints, troubleshoot, document results, and work with Lean/Six Sigma principles. Initial training on first shift may last 1–3 months. The position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Lean and Six Sigma tools experience preferred.

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Pay: $20-$26

Hours: 2nd Shift 2:45 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with initial training on first shift for 1 to 3 months.

Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician performs a variety of manufacturing activities, including producing and testing products, troubleshooting issues, and improving manufacturing processes. In this role, you operate complex and precision processes, use specialized test equipment, and provide technical support for the manufacturing area to ensure high-quality output, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency using hand tools for assembly and test-related tasks.
• Experience with electronics testing, including use of equipment such as Network Analyzers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both production processes and product performance issues.
• Experience performing manufacturing testing and documenting results accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools is preferred.
• Prior experience using ERP systems in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
