Seasonal Contract Position

Starts in mid-February/early March, and contact ends around late Sept/early October.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift - 0600-1430 (Mon-Fri), 5x8 hour shifts
• 2nd Shift - 1400-2230 (Mon-Fri), 5x8 hour shifts, 10% differential included in rate
• 3rd Shift - 2200-0630 (Sun-Thu), 5x8 hour shifts, 15% differential included in rate

Job Summary

Performs tasks related to processing ingredients and pharmaceutical products, operates manufacturing equipment such as autoclaves and automated aseptic filling lines, handles raw materials and finished products, and is responsible for cleaning and sanitization of the facility. Approximately 25% of the 8-hour day is dedicated to cleaning the stage area/rooms.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Supports manufacturing functions such as Thaw, Blend, Fill, Stage, Prep, Environmental Monitoring, and equipment preparation.
2. Supports cleaning and sanitization of the facility.
3. Manufactures products aseptically to ensure quality and safety.
4. Prepares equipment and manufacturing components.
5. Operates basic equipment (scales, autoclaves, environmental monitoring tools).
6. Prepares cleaning solutions for manufacturing/support areas.
7. Follows SOPs to comply with cGMP standards.
8. Completes documentation accurately for regulatory compliance and batch record activities.
9. Performs tasks diligently and safely to meet regulatory requirements.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in various environments.
• Clearance to wear PPE including respirators.

Desirable:

• Autoclave experience
• Aseptic background

Candidate Requirements

• Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, proactive, able to follow directions.

Additional Information

Contractors must follow AstraZeneca PPE guidelines, which exclude makeup, jewelry, nail polish/fake nails, and eyelash extensions. Vision requirements: 20/20 or better, with glasses permitted during onsite exam.
