Job Purpose:

Provide direct technical, physical, and training support to Materials, Manufacturing, and Systems operations. Develop Work Instructions, propose Process Improvements, and implement approved solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate material processes and suggest or evaluate automation solutions. Present detailed proposals to management and support ROI evaluations for automation.
2. Develop detailed work instructions for automation solutions or procedural changes resulting from process improvements.
3. Provide technical assistance in the use of material automation and manufacturing automation equipment.
4. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on automation equipment. Coordinate and oversee repair operations by third-party contractors.
5. Move, install, and validate automation equipment.
6. Design, develop, build, and modify tooling, jigs, and structures to support materials, systems, and manufacturing operations.
7. Serve as a subject matter expert in automated material equipment and department processes. Support the Prestage and Shipping departments and assist manufacturing with equipment issues.
8. Operate and train staff on forklift and other lift equipment.
9. Install, test, and validate Visual Factory Tools; develop procedures and work instructions for their use.

Experience and Education:

• Associate's Degree or 2-year Technical Degree or related field.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
