Smartbox US is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to assemble, test, and operate on our light manufacturing line for medical devices. You will learn hardware and accessories, following defined processes while communicating with the department Director.

This role is office-based with no heavy equipment, and training is provided. The team values quality, attention to detail, and collaboration, offering a fixed starting salary of $40,000, standard hours, and generous benefits to support work–life

Job description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll learn about the hardware and accessories that make up our exclusive line of speech-generating devices so you can focus on producing a high-quality product while following processes and maintaining communication with department Director.

This position is 'light manufacturing' using hand tools to assemble, test and perform a series of operations to create medical devices with the highest attention to detail, quality and workmanship.

No forklift, CNC, or heavy manufacturing experience required.

Our Manufacturing & Shipping Teams are a unique group of hard-working individuals focused on getting each client their voice. Together they collaborate to solve problems, tell some fun jokes, and provide a casual, fun work environment. Unlike other manufacturing and shipping roles, our team does not operate heavy equipment or work in a warehouse. We operate in an office setting, each person working both at their desk with their laptop and the designated workspaces where our devices come together.
