Aerotek is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for an on-site role in Bridgeton, MO. The position focuses on building and testing electro‑mechanical assemblies, following detailed schematics, SOPs and safety rules.

You will support engineers, perform prototype work and mentor junior technicians in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of relevant experience, and technical skills with tools like Access, Excel and LabVIEW.

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Build electro-mechanical cable connectors and assemblies per blueprints, schematics, and company standards.
• Work independently on sub-assemblies or collaborate with team members on vehicle integrations and installs.
• Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on moderately complex components, devices, material, products, processes, and equipment.
• Test, modify, rework, and repair electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies.
• Design and test prototype assemblies and production units.
• Work from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches.
• Use judgment in re-working or re-wiring to meet quality control specifications.
• Test, inspect, and repair electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies.
• Work under minimal supervision and provide guidance to other technicians.
• Perform related manufacturing processes.
• Interpret and follow written documents such as SOPs and safety rules.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Interface with other departments to ensure efficient flow of information and materials.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bridgeton, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.75 - $24.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
