Job summary

A staffing agency in Albuquerque is seeking a Manufacturing Tech to join a leading organization. In this full-time position, you will perform setup, calibration, assembly, and troubleshooting of production equipment.   • Operate specialized tools as needed per department.
  • Collaborate with engineering to improve processes.
  • Monitor progress on assemblies.

  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job description

VIP staffing is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Tech for a leading organization in Albuquerque, NM.

This is Full Time Temp to hire – Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 with a 30 minute lunch.

Pay is $15 per hour.

As Manufacturing Tech you will:
  • Perform setup, calibration, assembly, soldering and operation of production and testing equipment across all departments.
  • Troubleshoot and solve manufacturing issues, ensuring smooth operations in each department.
  • Record observations and findings during the assembly process in all departments and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Ensure work instructions and safety protocols are strictly followed in each department.
  • Conduct functionality tests and inspect finished products for quality, ensuring adherence to customer specifications.
  • Operate specialized tools such as needle punches, perimeter cutters, wire handling equipment, soldering tools, and laser cutting machinery, depending on the department.
  • Collaborate with the engineering department to address technical feedback and improve processes.
  • Monitor progress on all assemblies in each department, following up to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Perform in-process quality checks and inspections for all products related to the End Work, Wire and Laser departments.
  • Safely handle and operate equipment, using tools like soldering irons, calipers, and microscopes in each specific department.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor in any of the three departments, and any other task given to them by their supervisor.
Manufacturing Tech candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple production departments.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions, adjusting for different production processes.
  • Basic Computer Skills to record data and manage production tracking for each department.
  • Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other departments.
  • Ability to adapt and change in a fast‑paced production environment.
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Be self‑motivated, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks.
