Job summary

Broadcom in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to maintain and troubleshoot test equipment including Hontech, Chroma and Epson handler systems, and to operate Teradyne ATE equipment. You will collect data for engineering, perform stressed tests at various temperatures, ESD and burn-in, and assist with packaging qualification tests for hardware fixtures, boards and cables.

Qualified candidates have a GED or HS Diploma and at least four years of experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing/test environments.
• GED or HS Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot test equipment (Hontech, Chroma, Epson handler system).
• Operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE): Teradyne UF-Flex, Ultra-Flex, PA, FC.
• Support ATC Win-Way, thermal setup, and hand tests with vacuum-pen (room temp, hot, cold).
• Collect data for Engineering following established procedures.
• Perform special tests (stressed) at varying temperatures, ESD, burn-in.
• Package qualification and characterization tests: hardware fixtures, dib boards, cables.
