Job summary

Integer is hiring for a Manufacturing Team Member I to perform assembly and inspection per written procedures, meeting production and quality standards. The role involves setting up equipment, assembling parts, inspecting with microscopes, and documenting results.

The position is second shift (4:00pm–2:30am, Mon–Thu) with a 22% shift differential and is part of our total rewards program offering medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Reads, understands, and follows detailed instructions in English.
• Reads blueprints preferred.
• Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices preferred.
• Previous light assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for assembly and inspection per process specification.
• Assemble parts per print using manual and automated machinery.
• Visually and/or dimensionally inspect parts and assemblies, escalating non-conformances.
• Complete required documentation.
• Participate in team activities focused on continuous improvement.

The primary purpose of the Manufacturing Team Member I is to perform a variety of assembly and inspection operations following written procedures to meet production and quality requirements.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
• Sets up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per process specification.
• Works under close Supervision where duties are clearly defined.
• Assembles component parts as per print. Utilizes both manual and automated machine operation.
• Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts with the aid of a microscope and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications. Identifies and escalates quality non-conformances.
• Completes required documentation.
• May package product for shipment.
• Participates in team activity focusing on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross training, job rotations, and classroom instruction.
• Performs other functions as required.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience: Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• This is a second shift position with the hours for 4:00pm - 2:30 am Monday through Thursday
• Salary range for this position is $26.66 - 24.43 pr hour with a 22% shift differential
