Job summary

Integer Holdings is seeking an Assembly/Inspection specialist to perform a range of product processes. You will prepare work, gather parts and tools, and may train others while ensuring quality per MPI/QWI.

The role supports both cyclical and non-cyclic work and requires reading detailed instructions. Applicants should have at least 3 years in a regulated environment, strong communication, and familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Integer-related work experience and/or 3–5 years light assembly experience in a regulated industry.
• Med device experience preferred.
• Must read and follow detailed instructions precisely.
• Strong communication skills are essential.

• IPC soldering standards certification is desirable.
• Able to train others and work with minimal supervision.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to perform assembly and inspection operations over a range of products and processes. Will support both cyclical and non-cyclical work, independently preparing work to be accomplished by studying manufacturing process instructions and quality work instructions, gathering parts, tools, and materials as required. May train other team members in assembly operations.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Adheres to Integer Core Beliefs, Behavioral Based Safety process and Greatbatch Associate Quality Policy.
• Sets up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI's) and Quality Work Instructions (QWI's).
• Understands own tasks and how they relate to others in their team. Works under minimal Supervision. Will follow Standard Work where applicable.
• Understands overall production flow within their department. May perform significant non-cyclic work for the department.
• Assembles component parts as per print. Utilizes both manual and automatic machine operation.
• Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications. Identifies and escalates quality non-conformances.
• Completes required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documented Practices (GDP).
• May package assemblies for shipment.
• Actively participates in "flex break" programs as required.
• Participates in team activities focusing on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.
• Expands skill base through on the job training, cross training and classroom instruction.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Performs other functions as required.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Minimum Experience: 3 years Integer related work experience and/or 3-5 years light assembly experience in a regulated industry required; medical device experience preferred.

Specialized Knowledge: Computer proficiency. Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instruction. Must possess the ability to recognize obvious defects in workmanship. Demonstrates competency in multiple critical assembly processes.

Special Skills: Excellent communication skills required. Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices required. Certification for industry specific assembly requirements such as IPC soldering standards for the Medical device and Military markets desired. Technical training in welding, material science, and one-year related quality experience preferred.

Other: Proficient in assembly operations over a wide range of products and processes and is able and willing to fill in where needed to maintain production flow. May train others. Work is moderately supervised.

Salary $18.75- $27.50 plus 15% shift differential

We provide 80 hours (10 days) of company designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.
