Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Team Leader for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) to supervise production activities, drive Lean initiatives, and develop team members across multiple value streams. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost delivery while coordinating with planners and engineers to meet demanding customer requirements.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will coach staff, manage metrics, and lead continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency required.
• GED or High School Diploma required; Associate degree in related field a plus.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience; mentoring/leading others in lean manufacturing preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.
• Ability to guide a team of dotted line reports to meet deadlines.
• Strong math, reading, writing and computer skills (MS Office).
• Able to stand long hours and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work with hazardous chemicals; special certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned staff areas in daily production to meet customer demand and ensure compliance.
• Review analytics to provide performance feedback and coordinate with senior leadership.
• Manage documentation flow and reporting metrics; delegate work orders and inspect parts.
• Package complex products for downstream areas to complete workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in Slitting, Die Cutting, Milling, Laminating and Chemical Value Streams.
• Coordinate with planners to meet customer requirements.
• Support process engineering in introducing new products and troubleshoot cross-department issues.
• Lead Lean and High-Performance team objectives via training and improvement boards.
• Lead Safety and 5S program; ensure PPE usage and safe handling of hazardous operations.
