Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Grantsburg, WI to lead and develop subordinates while managing safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale in a production area. You will coach and conduct performance appraisals, driving Lean/Kaizen with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.

The role requires an associate degree and 3 years of supervision, with strong leadership and manufacturing software proficiency; minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in business or engineering.
• Three years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Proven leadership abilities.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to work with people at various levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct work activity of Group Leaders in assigned area. Distribute workload appropriately.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and eliminate waste; champion Lean Kaizen events.
• Ensure quality standards and coordinate corrective action activities with customers.
• Perform capacity analysis and determine staffing requirements; ensure production targets are met.
• Develop and deploy standardized work instructions and ensure process stability.
• Promote and enforce safety policies; conduct safety investigations and audits.
• Adhere to Environmental Policy and manage environmental impacts in area.
