Job summary

Magna is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Associate in Moonville, SC to lead daily safety, quality, and production activities on-site. You will coordinate staffing, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with Magna and OSHA standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, forklift certification, and experience with SAP or ERP systems.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license and forklift certification preferred.
Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Lead daily safety, quality, and production activities, including pre-shift meetings and safety talks.
Ensure compliance with Magna, OSHA, and plant safety standards, including audits and investigations.
Coordinate staffing, assignments, break relief, and production line coverage.
Monitor production performance through data collection, downtime tracking, and documentation.
Drive quality initiatives and continuous improvement, including lean manufacturing and corrective actions.
Develop and coach team members through training and feedback.
Maintain cross-functional communication and 5S, supporting safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
