Johnson Controls is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to direct a work team in the assembly and fabrication of sub‑assemblies while meeting daily production schedules, quality, safety, and efficiency goals.
The role requires an associate degree and five years of manufacturing experience, or eight to ten years without a two‑year degree, plus strong communication and analytical skills. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $82,000 with a bonus plan and competitive benefits.
The Manufacturing Supervisor is accountable for directing the activities of a work team to meet daily production schedules in the assembly/fabrication of sub‑assemblies, parts, or units within an assigned area while upholding a strong commitment to production goals, efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
Manages the production employees functions in assigned work areas to assure support of all components of manufacturing required to meet the needs and requirements of internal and external customers with established specifications and scheduled completion dates. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the team achieves goals in safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Works closely with other departments and coordinates activities across all shifts.
Hirng salary range: $60,000–$82,000 (salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data).
