Steel Ceilings, Inc., a subsidiary of Armstrong World Industries, is seeking a production supervisor in Johnstown, Ohio. The role oversees shift operations, enforces safety and quality standards, and coordinates staffing and training to meet daily production goals.

You will work with plant management to ensure compliance with policies, maintain equipment, and drive continuous improvement across turrets and press brakes. A strong focus on teamwork and leadership is essential.

Qualificações

• Experience leading or managing people in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address difficult situations.
• Lean manufacturing experience a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and use computers for programming equipment.
• Proficiency with fabrication equipment and maintenance; MS Office.
• Willingness to learn PLC, HMI, CNC, EPICOR and Trello Production Tracking.

Responsabilidades

• Lead shift activities, covering safety, quality, and daily goals.
• Ensure safety standards are followed and communicate policies.
• Complete incident paperwork and report near misses.
• Coordinate with Plant Manager on employment standards and relations issues.
• Attend required trainings and uphold company policies.
• Maintain focus on quality, safety, and productivity while following AWI principles.
• Assign work and schedule manpower; train employees on jobs.
• Collaborate with procurement on material issues.
