Job summary

Armstrong World Industries, Steel Ceilings, Johnstown plant, is seeking a capable supervisor to lead manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise 5-8 employees, enforce safety standards, and ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product quality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing people in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and use computers for programming equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct shift meetings to communicate safety, quality, and daily goals.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA policies are followed.
• Complete accident paperwork and notify EHS; report near misses.
• Coordinate with Plant Manager to ensure employment standards.
• Train employees and assign work; maintain production records.
