Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Team Lead to join a premier manufacturing client in East Moline, IL. This on-site leadership role oversees production, maintenance, and warehouse teams to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency targets.

The position runs 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with weekends and OT as needed. A 1-year contract with pay rate of $37/hour and weekly pay reflects the opportunity to lead a high-performing operation.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in warehouse/manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma with supervisory experience acceptable.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Committed to a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production, maintenance and warehouse staff to meet safety, quality, schedule and efficiency targets.
• Serve as the first-line liaison between shop floor staff and management.
• Administer policies and work rules for the unit.
• Monitor performance and take corrective actions, including disciplinary responses.
• Collaborate with Safety Team to enforce regulations and prevent injuries.
• Plan maintenance and maximize uptime of equipment and facilities.
• Manage department costs to stay within budget.
• Foster open communication, feedback and guidance.
• Ensure staff have training, instructions and tools.
• Direct continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
