Kelly Services is seeking an ER14 - Engineer Quality I - Quality Engineering in Moline, IL to provide tactical quality engineering support for the final assembly department and drive containment and investigations of quality issues.

You will lead corrective actions, support quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality. The role offers overtime opportunities and potential Saturdays.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in manufacturing/quality engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable supporting operators and working with inspection teams.
• Able to work within established project and contract management plans.
• Detail-oriented with a drive to improve processes.
• Willingness for the specified shift with overtime and Saturdays.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsabilidades

• Provide tactical quality engineering support for the final assembly department.
• Lead containment activities and investigations for quality issues.
• Launch and track corrective actions to improve internal and customer quality.
• Participate in quality improvement meetings and support concerns.
• Verify and improve process controls (torque, routing, etc.).
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Management, Product Engineering, and inspectors to raise product quality.
• Assist operators with quality questions and investigate shop-floor issues.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers within the contract management plan.
