Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Assembly Team Lead to oversee daily assembly production cells, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will provide hands-on leadership, guide 5+ operators, train on SOPs, and drive continuous improvement.

You will monitor performance, coordinate changeovers, resolve issues, and communicate priorities to teams while supporting leadership’s objectives and employee development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and manage priorities.
• Demonstrated urgency and ownership to meet production goals.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of 5+ production operators, including contingent workers.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and development objectives.
• Train staff on SOPs and maintain training matrices.
• Coordinate production, changeovers, and schedule attainment.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as first point of contact for production-related technical issues.
• Escalate safety concerns and uphold PPE and 6S standards.
