Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Team Lead II to supervise a manufacturing cell, assign work, and ensure quality and safety. The role involves directing operators, auditing processes, training staff, and coordinating with Engineering on drawings and BOM issues.

A background in manufacturing with 4+ years of experience and familiarity with ERP systems is required. Expect a busy role with emphasis on efficiency and team coordination.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise a department with diverse tasks and schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and schematics.
• Experience with corrective and preventive actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing employees within an area of responsibility.
• Assign work and instruct operators on techniques, quality and safety.
• Ensure materials, tools, and fixtures are available.
• Maintain flow and on-time completion; perform direct labor as needed.
• Audit work and ensure quality procedures are followed.
• Train others in inspection tasks; complete production and quality forms.
• Communicate discrepancies in drawings or BOM to Engineering.
• Contribute to inventory accuracy within the cell.
