Position Overview

We are seeking a First Shift Production Team Lead to guide and coach manufacturing employees towards achieving production goals. This organized, people-oriented leader will work under the Production Supervisor. The production schedule runs Sunday through Wednesday for 10 hours each day, with every other Thursday possibly scheduled for overtime.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure safety among all employees by adhering to safety requirements, including PPE use.
2. Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals.
3. Promote teamwork and integrity through coaching and leading by example.
4. Ensure the flow of raw materials and resources to support production.

Minimum Requirements

1. Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment.
2. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and layouts.
3. Effective and patient communication skills.
4. Mathematical skills equivalent to high school level or higher, including metric conversions.
5. Basic mechanical skills, manual dexterity, and good eye/hand coordination.
6. Problem-solving skills for frequent and unique issues.
7. Ability to establish priorities and manage time effectively.
