Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Oracle experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and STOP principles across the operation.
• Supervise daily production operations while ensuring policy and safety compliance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Group Lead to support a high-performing production team in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for driving safety, developing team members, improving operational execution, and ensuring production goals are achieved while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys coaching teams, solving production challenges, and creating a culture centered around safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Lead and promote a strong safety culture focused on attention to detail, self-awareness, standard work, and STOP principles.
• Supervise daily production operations while ensuring compliance with plant policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Train, coach, and develop production teammates to achieve operational and team goals.
• Conduct performance discussions, coaching sessions, and employee development activities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor training programs for production personnel.
• Manage labor allocation and shift schedules to meet production demands.
• Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Prioritize production issues and effectively assign resources to resolve challenges.
• Identify, contain, and help diagnose quality concerns.
• Ensure compliance with standard work instructions, control plans, and job safety analyses.
• Collaborate closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to drive operational success.
• Conduct incident investigations and participate in root cause analysis activities.
• Complete shift reporting and other administrative responsibilities while supporting production as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 4 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience leading teams of up to 20 direct reports.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to understand production equipment capabilities and operating parameters.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Oracle is preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and make sound decisions in a production environment.

Schedule

• Must be willing to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Rotation consists of:
• 3 nights one week
• 4 nights the following week
