Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead for the 1st shift. You will guide Team Coordinators, assign work, and help prioritize and schedule tasks to meet due dates while ensuring quality.

• Assist maintenance to troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs; escalate as needed.

The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking to fill a Manufacturing Team Lead position on the 1st shift. The Manufacturing Lead will guide Team Coordinators on tasks to be completed and assist in prioritizing and scheduling work. The lead will be responsible for ensuring production order due dates are met, that quality products are passed to subsequent operations, and that production processes operate in accordance with established standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Coordinate with production planning function to prioritize production requirements. Assign work to others and assure due dates are met.
• Provide cross shift coordination on priorities, work loads. Ensure cross-training is conducted to enable worker flexibility. Work with full-time trainers to raise skill sets of work force.
• Support employee engagement efforts by providing feedback on results and giving input to planning efforts.
• Process scrap tickets, ensuring data accuracy. Provide input to scrap reduction efforts based on causes and sources.
• Assist maintenance to troubleshoot equipment failure. Perform equipment first aid (minor equipment repairs) and contact engineering as required to keep equipment operational. (Escalation process based on downtime duration)

• Strong leadership skills such as flexibility, dependability, and independence are essential for a lead person.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are needed. A lead person must have the ability to effectively train and advise other employees around work.
• Must understand, comply with, and communicate with team members, all environmental, health, and safety legislation and regulation relevant to areas of responsibility. Must also train team members regarding these regulations where applicable.
