Job summary

Progress Rail in Muncie, IN is seeking an experienced Learning & Development professional to design and manage operations-focused talent and leadership programs. You will partner with Operations leaders to deliver training that drives performance and engagement.

The role requires strong facilitation, project and vendor management, and the ability to coordinate with learning partners to ensure training outcomes. Up to 5% travel; manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or training.
• Strong project and vendor management skills.
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills - ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders.
• Self-starter with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Leads strategic learning partnerships and manages trainee progress, logistics, and program efficacy.
• Leads employee onboarding and enhances onboarding processes for new hires.
• Facilitates skill-building sessions and supports behavior change through coaching and follow-up.
