Teledyne FLIR in Cypress, TX is seeking a motivated professional to support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our production systems. You will help optimize manufacturing processes, maintain existing systems, and develop work instructions and SOPs to drive efficiency.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with operations and production teams, troubleshooting of processes, and coordination with vendors to support procurement and maintenance activities.

Formación

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Some college in related field is preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and production teams.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Programming experience is not required; however, familiarity with Python is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop manufacturing systems and processes to improve efficiency and performance.
• Maintain and support both existing and newly implemented systems.
• Develop, document, and update work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, manage follow-ups, and support procurement activities.
• Collaborate closely with Team Leads to understand operational needs and implement effective solutions.
• Deliver training to personnel on systems, processes, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot processes and/or systems.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and ensure procedures are followed to keep production equipment operational.
• Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
