Job summary

K. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support mission-critical manufacturing applications across eight North American facilities in Georgetown, KY.

You will focus on uptime, troubleshooting, Windows Server and SQL administration, software upgrades, and security/compliance for reliable manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Windows Server administration, SQL databases, networking, and software/application support within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, or application support experience.
• Experience with Windows Server (2016 or newer).
• Experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft SQL Server, networking fundamentals, IT infrastructure and system administration.
• Knowledge of network architecture, cybersecurity, Active Directory / account management, server administration.
• 2+ years of project coordination or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain manufacturing application systems across multiple North American facilities.
• Troubleshoot application, server, and PC issues.
• Deploy quarterly software upgrades and validate system functionality.
• Perform Windows Server patching and validation.
• Support cybersecurity, access control, and IT compliance initiatives.
• Administer Windows Server environments and SQL databases.
• Support system architecture, networking, and infrastructure improvements.
• Manage application testing, traceability, and validation activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, IT, and manufacturing teams in North America and Japan.
• Support project planning, procurement, implementation, and progress tracking.
