Job summary

Neros is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to own Manufacturo, our MES, end to end. You will be the technical and functional owner of the platform that drives every build on the shop floor, including work instructions, routings, and data flow between floor and business systems.

You’ll work hands‑on on the production floor with technicians, configure workflows, and partner with software vendors to drive the roadmap.

Qualifications

3+ years in manufacturing engineering or manufacturing systems in hardware production
Experience administering or configuring an MES platform (Manufacturo, iBase-t Solumina, Tulip, Siemens Opcenter, or similar)
Understanding MES-ERP interactions: work orders, BOMs, material consumption, completions, confirmations
Able to read API docs, work with CSV/JSON data, and collaborate with software teams
Strong floor presence and ability to translate production reality into system design
Clear written and verbal communication across production staff, engineers, and software vendors

Responsibilities

Own Manufacturo administration end to end: configuration, roles, permissions, routings, templates, release management
Serve as primary contact with Manufacturo team for escalations, requests, and releases
Design, build, and maintain MES integrations with ERP, PLM, quality, and inventory tools
Translate manufacturing intent into structured, executable work instructions and routings
Define production data structures for accurate scrap, rework, repair, cycle time, and takt metrics
Train technicians, leads, and engineers on the system and drive floor adoption
Troubleshoot failures and data discrepancies to keep production moving
Identify friction and automate data entry to improve workflows
Support audits with traceable production records
