Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Systems to lead MES/ERP integration, production management, and line control. You will guide cross‑functional teams across manufacturing operations and IT to implement and support manufacturing systems strategy for Zoox’s production facilities.

You will collaborate with engineers and leaders to develop roadmaps, manage budgets, and ensure cross‑functional alignment with plant floor to ERP processes, enabling high‑impact manufacturing of Zoox products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field.
15+ years in manufacturing with MES/SCADA/line control systems.
Experience shaping long- and short-term manufacturing systems strategies.
Strong MES architecture knowledge and link to ERP requirements.
Hands-on with SAP ME/Mii/PCo and SIEMENS PLCs and related tech.
MS in CS, Engineering or similar field.
Deep MES-to-SAP S/4HANA integration knowledge (PP, PM, EAM, eWM, QM).
Automotive or discrete manufacturing experience in production environments.
Understanding of modern production line operations.

Responsibilities

Translate corporate strategy into roadmaps and deliverables for Manufacturing Systems.
Develop short and long-term manufacturing and service system strategies.
Convey requirements to cross-functional teams and define resources.
Represent Manufacturing Systems in cross-functional project activities.
Collaborate with IT to ensure MES integrates with enterprise systems.
Lead the team to design, implement, and standardize manufacturing systems.
Drive design and implementation of systems for advanced components and vehicles.
Support day-to-day vehicle and component production operations.
