Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Operations professional to coordinate critical mission maintenance tasks, schedule routine preventive maintenance, and ensure standard and mission-unique support equipment is kept ready.

The role requires frequent cross-functional communication with Production Operations, Quality, and Navy partners, with opportunities to develop creative solutions to complex problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Fundamental knowledge of planning principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong communication (both verbal and written).
• Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a Top-Secret Security clearance.

In this role you will support the Maintenance Operations Team with coordinating critical mission operations, scheduling and tracking routine preventive maintenance tasks for both standard and mission unique support equipment. This position will require frequent communication with Production Operations, Quality, and Navy Partners to work through challenges and will also provide opportunities for you to develop creative solutions to complex issues. The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Fundamental knowledge of planning principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong communication (both verbal and written).
• Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a Top-Secret Security clearance.

Desired Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and able to operate in a fast paced, team-based environment.
• Able to operate independently with little supervision after training.
• Experience with scheduling tools/applications (i.e. Microsoft Teams Planner)
• Experience with SAP or other comparable enterprise resource planning tools.
• Understanding of crane operations and safety requirements.
• Understanding of proof load/weight testing processes and applicable requirements for various Weight Handling Equipment (WHE).
• Familiar with NAVFAC P-307 requirements.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
