Job summary

Thorlabs is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Helper in Newton, NJ. Training will be provided. You will support fabricating, sorting, inspecting parts, and loading/unloading machines to help build optical components.

No prior experience is required; a High School diploma is enough. You will work with a team, maintain records, and adhere to safety standards in a clean, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Training provided, no prior experience necessary.
• Basic math and measurement skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist workers engaged in fabricating and processing materials and parts.
• Sort and count parts and materials.
• Examine parts and materials for defects.
• Feed, load, or remove parts from machines.
• Handle and clean specialty fiber optics, precision optics, and mechanical components.
• Maintain records in Manufacturing Database.
• Follow written work instructions and safety rules.
