NSG Group in Shelbyville, IN, seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead operations across two facilities, coordinating inventory, scheduling and materials planning to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• At least 5 years of management experience in manufacturing, preferably in supply chain.
• Strong communications and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing operations to ensure timely customer deliveries and define shift structures.
• Plan and supervise inventory control activities within financial guidelines.
• Manage inventory through non-value added and blocked stock and set production priorities.
• Control packaging, freight, storage and forklift costs within budgeted levels.
• Maintain Health & Safety knowledge and meet safety goals.
• Develop stocking levels for OEM and JIT programs to ensure OTIF goals.
• Ensure operating plans meet economic production quantities with minimal variances.
• Plan direct materials for current and future production within budget.
• Manage Storeroom to support required min/max levels and cycle counting.
