Job summary

Hoerbiger Rotary Solutions/Deublin Company in Waukegan, IL seeks a Supply Chain Analyst to monitor expediting, production support, and inventory planning. You will work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Engineering to resolve shortages and keep schedules on track.

Responsibilities include expediting material, tracking orders, communicating shortages, and preparing regular supplier performance updates.

Qualifications

• Requires associate degree in business administration, supply chain, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience in purchasing, planning, supply chain, customer service, manufacturing, or inventory management.
• Experience with ERP systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor open purchase orders and supplier commitments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Follow up on overdue deliveries and potential delays.
• Expedite critical materials to support production schedules and customer orders.
• Coordinate recovery plans with suppliers when delivery commitments are at risk.
• Track material availability for planned production orders.
• Communicate shortages and potential production impacts to Planning and Operations.
• Prioritize critical orders with Production, Purchasing, and Inventory Control.
• Assist in resolving shortages through alternate sourcing or supplier escalation.
• Confirm ship dates, tracking, and order status on critical materials.
• Assist planners in managing material constraints and balancing supply with demand.
• Maintain records of supplier communications and expediting activities.
• Provide regular status updates on shortages, recovery plans, and supplier performance.
• Generate reports on open orders, late deliveries, and shortages.
• Participate in daily production and supply chain review meetings.
