Job summary

R&B Wagner, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the assigned department(s) and related operations, including training and cross-training of staff, and coordinating with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production Control to meet customer specifications.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with Lean manufacturing, and the ability to read blueprints and use EPICOR scheduling or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education with eight+ years manufacturing experience.
• Must read and write English and follow verbal instructions.
• Minimum five years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage assigned departments and operations, including customer order fulfillment.
• Plan and coordinate practices (5S, Kanban, VSM, Lean) to meet department objectives.
• Establish priorities with Production Control; monitor progress and report results.
• Coordinate training plans with department leads and aid in staffing decisions.
• Develop staff through recruitment, interviews, orientation and training.
• Maintain quality service by enforcing standards and driving continuous improvement.
