Job summary

Amcor in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead shift production, drive safety, quality, service, and productivity, and manage people, equipment, and materials in line with company policies and customer requirements.

You will act as a safety leader, monitor practices, investigate incidents, and guide continuous improvement projects while coordinating with maintenance and process engineering to meet daily production goals and sustain gains across the line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years’ experience in operations or production supervision, or 5+ years total with equivalent education.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer proficiency; MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities.
• Monitor colleague practices to ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.
• Investigate and recommend improvements related to near misses, property damage, or injuries.
• Support plant safety programs through audits, GEMBAs, incident investigations, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily production to meet production goals.
• Manage employee timecards and time-off requests for accurate payroll and coverage.
• Champion continuous improvement projects and sustain gains.
• Interpret and enforce disciplinary process consistently and fairly.
• Ensure employee training is current and retained.
