Job summary

ICM Corporation in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a production-focused assembler/ supervisor to join our growing team. You will oversee daily production duties, assemble components per drawings, and train new employees to ensure quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include evaluating processes, facilitating inventory control, and coordinating with purchasing to secure materials. A forklift certification and bilingual ability are preferred to support our diverse operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production or assembly.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to stay organized.
• Safety management.
• Quality-focused.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Columbarium units, components, panels, doors, hardware per drawings and specs.
• Manage the daily duties of the production workers.
• Train new employees on all aspects of production.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to boost productivity and quality.
• Lift and relocate shipments manually and with pallet jacks or forklift.
• Handle materials within the department for all products.
• Conduct inventory walks to keep a current raw material count.
• Speak with president of UVP and purchasing to order materials; use MRP for inventory needs.
• Assemble components by checking connections for correct fit; fasten parts and subassemblies.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Ensure products are received in good condition with no damages.
• Contribute to the team by achieving related results as needed.
