AMBAC International is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor for the CNC department in Elgin, SC. This hands-on leadership role focuses on building a strong team, ensuring quality, and maintaining organized, efficient production on a 4‑day schedule.

You’ll supervise CNC machinists, grinders, and technicians, coach staff, and collaborate across departments to optimize workflows while upholding 5S discipline and Lean principles. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing, with 3+ in leadership.
• Experience with metal CNC machining, grinding or honing preferred.
• Structured, team-focused leadership with strong listening and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of Lean, 5S and continuous improvement preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or associate degree preferred.

• Supervise and support a team of CNC machinists, grinders, and technicians.
• Monitor daily performance and ensure safe, accurate, efficient work.
• Train, coach, and mentor employees using standard processes and quality practices.
• Collaborate across departments to support scheduling and workflow.

• Support continuous improvement using Lean and Great Game principles.
