Job Summary
The primary function of this position is to support team members in order to meet daily safety, quality, and production requirements. The following factors serve as expectations, and will be used to measure the relative performance for individuals in the Manufacturing Supervisor role:
- Work with team members and other leaders to monitor standards work and process flow within the department or work area to meet production and customer requirements.
- Responsible for executing goals and objectives for the plant.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead activities of team members to produce quality parts according to work instructions and company policy, ensuring timely delivery.
- Coach & mentor team members, monitor & document defects, and problem-solve within span of control.
- Maintain safety standards as required by law and company policy.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensure accountability for goals at the team member level.
- Monitor and take timely actions to meet production quality and quantity targets.
- Utilize problem-solving techniques, teamwork strategies, process control, and continuous improvement tools to meet or exceed goals.
- Manage workflow, workforce scheduling, and team placement to meet company objectives.
- Maintain adherence to policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Safety
- Complete Accident Investigation forms in areas of responsibility.
- Implement safety countermeasures and conduct root cause analysis for safety improvements.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Model safe behaviors and respect for the environment and 6S practices.
- Champion safety practices at the site.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to read, understand, and comprehend safety rules, instructions, manuals, reports, and method sheets.
- Excellent team skills and ability to interact with employees, engineers, and leadership.
- Ability to report progress and collaborate with engineers to solve issues.
- Mathematical skills: ability to perform basic operations with numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning ability: handle problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and manufacturing software.
