Raytheon El Segundo is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor to provide leadership and direction with an emphasis on team building through daily meetings, effective communications and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and changes.

What You Will Do

• Perform daily supervisor responsibilities, project management, effective communication, and execution with support group members.
• Work dedicatedly to addressing issues and engage the workforce in achieving cell goals.
• Establish work schedules considering customer requirements, resource availability and other priorities.
• Lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost. reduction through the system’s various elements.
• Demonstrate a 100% dedication to Quality, Environment Health and Safety (EHS).
• Drive quality and customer satisfaction through CORE operating system.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience. Supervisory, Leadership and/or Manufacturing/Operations experience is required Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising bargaining unit employees in the aerospace/defense industry.
• Experience assigning, managing, and measuring work assignments to completion.
• Experience with information technology systems, and experience working in asystems integration factoryor similar environment.
• Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks.
• Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma implementation projects.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
• Ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early, and concisely with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Experience in managing test equipment and customer property.
• Familiarity with industry or military specifications, Radio Frequency systems and devices, Circuit Card Repairs/modifications.
• Experience leading a team-based manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access) and/or SAP.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
