Job summary

RTX is hiring a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day production at the Riverside, CA site. The role oversees 20–25 bargaining unit personnel with a focus on safety, performance, and OTJ coaching.

You will drive problem solving, coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor metrics, and push continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve efficiency in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.
  • Working Knowledge in Continuous Improvement Tools.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 20 and 25 bargaining unit personnel in day-to-day production operations.
  • Maintains Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance, including regulatory record keeping, injury reduction and a behavioral based safety culture.
  • Lead shop floor Real Time Problem Resolution meetings (Tier 1).
  • Maintains personnel attendance and performance records.
  • Promotes employee retention and growth.
  • Fosters a "One Team" philosophy.
  • Monitors performance: productivity, production schedule, cost, quality and customer satisfaction goals within our manufacturing facility.
  • Drives relentless Root Cause and Corrective Action in the quest to eliminate repeat errors.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and optimize processes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, maintenance, and quality) to support smooth operations.
  • Lead team members and overall team achievement to accomplish Policy Deployment objectives.

We are looking to hire Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to work at Riverside - CA site.

Work Shift: Sunday night - Friday Morning (11:30 pm - 6:30 am) Relocation Assistance will be provided

What You Will Do

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
