Description

Seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for a full-time/perm position located in Colorado Springs to optimize day-to-day activities like machining, fabricating, welding, assembling, and processing operations required in the production of the finished products.

Please Note

• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
• This is an ONSITE position and is not remote
• Offered salary range is $65k to 80k per year

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff to produce manufactured products, and organizes and monitors workflow.
• Accomplish manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow to the Director of Manufacturing
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by training and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Identifies issues in efficiency and suggests improvements
• Enforces strict safety guidelines and company standards
• Creates and justifies purchase requisitions for items to support the manufacturing teams.
• Ability to adhere to ISO 9001/2015 standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor, Production Supervisor or similar role
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Demonstrated experience in performance evaluations for employees
• Prior experience in lean manufacturing
• Conflict resolution and writing and delivering disciplinary actions
• Organizational and leadership skills
• Working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems
