The role focuses on accurate general ledger entries, monthly closes, and timely financial reporting. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, perform variance analyses, and assist with audits and financial statements, while collaborating with the Corporate Controller to improve accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with general ledger accounting and journal entries.
• Experience performing monthly closings and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare financial statements and analyze financial results.
• Experience with monthly variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of fixed asset accounting, including additions and disposals.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger records and prepare journal entries.
• Perform monthly accounting close procedures.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts.
• Conduct monthly flux and variance analysis, researching and explaining financial discrepancies.
• Assist with preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Assist with identifying and implementing accounting process improvements.
• Work closely with the Corporate Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
