Better Planet and Warehouse Sales & Services in Georgia is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to provide full-time manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting on-site. Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior-level accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on manufacturing accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on cost accounting experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing cost structures and cost flows.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, inventory valuation, COGS, and variances.
• Experience reconciling inventory and investigating discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee manufacturing cost accounting activities (materials, labor, overhead, WIP, finished goods).
• Review production costs to ensure proper capture, classification, and reporting.
• Maintain QuickBooks Online records for multiple companies and manage the chart of accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and support month-end closing processes.
• Support intercompany accounting and monthly reconciliations across entities.
