Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess AWS GTAW certifications.
• Up to 3 years welding experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English to follow instructions and safety signs.
• Strong manual dexterity and coordination for welding and fabrication; able to pass welding tests.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts and welded components for quality against specifications.
• Set up and operate machinery and hand tools for forming, bending, punching, grinding, cutting, brazing, and welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work packages to determine operations.
• Use testing and measurement equipment to verify part accuracy and troubleshoot welding issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety and quality policies.
