Job summary

Siemens Energy in Fort Payne, Alabama, is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist Level 3 – Certified Welder for a weekday night shift (3:30PM–2AM). You will read blueprints, prepare materials, perform certified welding, and support precision fabrication of generator components in a climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities include operating machinery, interpreting drawings, verifying part accuracy with testing equipment, and upholding safety and quality standards across a clean, organized

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; AWS GTAW certifications required.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English language to understand instructions and safety signage.
• Strong manual dexterity and coordination for welding and part fabrication; able to pass welding tests (1G/4G).

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, prepare materials and perform certified welding.
• Operate machinery and use hand tools for forming, bending, punching, grinding and welding.
• Read engineering drawings and work packages to determine required operations.
• Ensure parts meet quality standards and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
