Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Connersville, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist to design, implement, and review manufacturing procedures and equipment. The role emphasizes lean improvements, safety, quality, and optimizing production layouts to meet demand.

You will analyse workflow, coordinate maintenance, develop SOPs, and lead evaluation of new machinery and tooling. Collaboration with engineering and operations is essential, with exposure to cost-reduction initiatives and new program launches on

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years in a manufacturing engineering role.
1+ years knowledge of CNC programming.
2nd shift available (start by 3:00 pm).

Responsibilities

Evaluate quality control processes and recommend improvements.
Plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve efficiency.
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to keep it operational.
Develop and document SOPs, PFMEAs, and process flow diagrams.
Lead the evaluation of new machinery, tooling, and equipment.
Support cost-reduction initiatives and lean manufacturing projects.
