Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist for the Connersville, Indiana area. The role focuses on designing, implementing and reviewing manufacturing procedures, improving lean processes, and ensuring safety and quality on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include planning layouts, evaluating QC processes, coordinating maintenance, and leading new machinery trials. Requires 2+ years in manufacturing engineering, CNC programming experience, and willingness to work 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing engineering.
• 1+ years CNC programming knowledge.
• High School Diploma required.
• 2nd shift availability starting by 3:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate quality control processes and recommend improvements.
• Plan workflow, space, and equipment to boost efficiency.
• Ensure product and process quality via testing methods.
• Maintain equipment by coordinating maintenance and repairs.
• Develop process documentation (SOPs, PFMEAs, process flow diagrams).
• Lead trials and evaluation of new machinery and tooling.
• Estimate costs for new programs and initiatives.
• Apply statistical methods to machinery qualification and process improvement.
• Implement lean practices to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Provide technical direction for installation of new equipment and processes.
• Train personnel on new equipment and processes; assist in debugging.
