Job summary

GardenCore LLC is seeking a Site Manager to lead a fast-paced mulch, soil and stone manufacturing facility. You will monitor metrics, safety, production flow and material costs, with accountability for bottom-line results.

Responsibilities include establishing high manufacturing standards, guiding staff performance, ensuring safety programs, and driving process improvements. You will also manage raw materials, logistics, maintenance, and the facility's financial performance.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or equivalent combination of education, industry experience and training.
• 2+ years manufacturing management experience.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• MS Office skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish highest standards of manufacturing operation from housekeeping to safety and maintenance.
• Provide exceptional leadership to staff and direct all operational activities to ensure safety, quality and consistency.
• Ensure workplace safety by enforcing company standards and safety programs.
• Leverage tools to implement process improvements and drive productivity.
• Procure and negotiate raw materials and manage logistics to meet production demand.
• Implement and sustain a preventive maintenance program.
• Oversee financial performance of the facility (P&L, budget, forecast, inventory, labor and capital planning).
