Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking an Associate Mgr Manufacturing Site Lead to oversee building operations at Semiworks (York) and the Tech Center (Hershey), guiding maintenance, production and project work while ensuring safety and food safety standards.

You will manage budgets, procurement, inventory, and scheduling, coordinate with R&D and Engineering, and lead a diverse workforce to meet timelines and quality goals across all facilities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years in food manufacturing, consumer goods, or related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA, GMP and QA guidelines is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper segregation of materials for allergen/process requirements.
• Maintain safety, GMP, and SOP compliance; identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate daily labor staffing per budget.
• Ensure supply of production materials and troubleshooting support during runs.
• Address facility issues with on-site contractor and Ops Lead.
• Support shipping and delivery of materials.
• Oversea daily inventory checks and maintain material levels.
• Report production data into SAP; manage shipping/BOL for finished products.
• Lead Hershey and contracted labor for manufacturing operations.
• Assist R&D and Engineering in ingredient procurement; coordinate with Dock/Warehouse.
• Lead maintenance, training and QA team activities.
• Ensure safe working environment and adherence to safety policies.
