Oshkosh Corporation invites students to join the Manufacturing Engineering internship to support simulation and continuous improvement efforts. You will collaborate with engineering to model bottlenecks, balance lines, and test production scenarios using tools like FlexSim, Emulate3D, and Omniverse.

You will work with CAD to create plant layouts and explore new digital factory tools while contributing to cross-functional projects and time studies in a real-world setting.

Competenze

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• GPA of 3.0 or above is required.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with engineering to build discrete event simulation models to identify bottlenecks and test production scenarios.
• Assist in developing digital twins of manufacturing cells and robotics.
• Analyze cycle times, station configurations, and operator movements for line balancing and throughput optimization.
• Work with real-time sensor/PLC data to feed simulation models and Ignition dashboards.
• Create and revise 2D/3D plant layout drawings using CAD tools to support simulation setup.
